Sher E Punjab is a multi-cuisine restaurant located at 346 Clayton Rd, Clayton VIC 3168. The restaurant menu has mainly Indian cuisine but also offers Indo-chinese and Mughlai,. However it is the Tandoori Indian menu that receives a lot of appreciation.
The restaurant is wide-spread with a great occupancy. Interiors are mainly done in wood and dark shades. Soft lights from the ceilings lend an elegant touch to Sher-E-Punjab.
The menu begins with Mughlai fare like Yakhni shorba, murgh tikkas, kebabs, palak kofta, paneer makhanwala, rogan josh, Lucknowi biryanis, special Lucknowi breads and some desserts and side accompaniments.
For an experience of fine dining with a twist of tandoori and dhaba food, Sher E Punjab is one perfect option. Get to taste authentic Mughlai food under the sky with butter chicken, bharva tangri kebab, soya chaap, achari chicken, handi murgh, kali mirch mutton, keema, stuffed naan and paranthas. You also get gulab jamuns.
Sher E Punjab is new to Clayton, however has become a popular choice for locals and all North Indian and Mughlai food lovers. They have been pleasing the taste buds of generations for years with the use of rich spices and delicate herbs blended with vegetables and meat.
It is not only the food which is without doubt delicious but also the ambiance which draws crowd to Sher E Punjab.
I just could not resist to have the Tandoori items off the menu.
On my next visit I am going to try some Chaat variations to see how it goes.
Until then
Chao :)
